There are no set precedent clauses but the intention of most clients is the desire for maximum pain relief without unnecessarily prolonging life. Individual documents can be edited as can the default template clauses. The Mental Capacity Act 2005 came into force in April 2007 and forms the legal basis for Advance Decisions.
